I understand what you are saying and as Data Scientists I agree these are just APIs.

But you also need to understand the writer's side. If I would use the title of “5 pandas APIs” no one would read it. I need to write a title that is compelling to the reader (and not make it too clickbaity).

Regarding links to pandas documentation. Pandas is the defacto tool for data analysis. It doesn't need more popularity. Well, actually I am helping it with posts like this.

Pandas documentation is overwhelming. Functions have many arguments that are never (or rarely) used in practice. I try to present the most useful to Junior Data Scientist readers.
